Fail to Add Device via Scanning QR Code
Troubleshooting steps when device addition fails via QR code scanning
If you're unable to add your device by scanning the QR code, follow these troubleshooting steps based on your device type.
1. Fail to Add 4G Device via Scanning QR Code
Step 1: Check camera power
Ensure that the camera is powered on normally and restart it.
Step 2: Verify SIM card data
Check if the 4G SIM card has sufficient data, and ensure the camera is connected to the network normally.
Step 3: Confirm QR code recognition
Listen to the voice prompt of the camera. If the QR code is recognized, the camera will make a "beep" sound.
Step 4: Check lens obstruction
If the camera does not sound "beep", check if the lens is obstructed and ensure that the lens is clean and free of debris.
Step 5: Adjust scanning distance and angle
Ensure that the QR code on the phone is 15-20cm away from the lens when scanning, and try scanning the QR code from multiple angles.
If all the above checks are normal but the issue persists, the camera may be faulty. Please contact after-sales support.
